Materia FM is a webradio application that streams Final Fantasy music. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.

Materia FM does not require an account. You can listen to the radio and browse playlists without signing up or providing any personal information.

• None. Materia FM does not ask you to create an account, log in, or submit any personal data.

Information collected automatically

• Listening statistics: Our backend (Infomaniak) tracks the number of active listeners to manage stream capacity. This is an aggregate count — it is not tied to your identity.
• Analytics: We use Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics 4 to understand app usage patterns (screen views, feature usage). This data is anonymized and aggregated.
• Crash data: If the app crashes, anonymous diagnostic data may be sent to Apple via the standard iOS crash reporting system.

• To provide and maintain the radio streaming service.
• To monitor stream quality and listener counts.
• To improve the app's features and user experience.
• To detect and troubleshoot crashes and bugs.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Materia FM uses the following third-party services:

• Infomaniak Streaming Radio: Provides the audio streaming infrastructure. No personal data is shared with Infomaniak. (Infomaniak Privacy Policy)
• Google Analytics 4: Anonymized usage analytics to help us improve the app. (Google Privacy Policy)
• Apple iOS: Standard iOS system services (crash reporting, etc.) governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

The app does not integrate with social media login, does not use advertising SDKs, and does not contain in-app purchases.

No personal data is stored on your device by Materia FM. The app stores only your playback preferences (volume, last played mode) locally using iOS standard preferences storage. This data never leaves your device.

Our backend infrastructure is hosted on Infomaniak's secure servers in Switzerland, which are subject to Swiss data protection laws.
