Why a menu bar app?
Installation
Download the .dmg matching your Mac (Apple Silicon or Intel) and double-click to open it.
Drag Materia FM to your Applications folder.
Open it from the Dock or Launchpad.
Right-click the app, select Open, then confirm in the second dialog.
Apple Security Warning?
When opening Materia FM for the first time, you may see this message: Apple couldn't confirm that « Materia FM » doesn't contain malware that could damage your Mac or compromise your privacy. This is normal for all applications distributed outside the Mac App Store. Here's how to proceed:
1Click Cancel on the security dialog.
2Right-click (or Ctrl+click) the Materia FM app in the Dock or Finder.
3Select Open from the context menu.
4Click Open in the second dialog. Materia FM launches.
Alternative: go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Security, scroll down to Security and click Open Anyway.
